Where it started
Elite Motorsports did not start as a business plan. It started as a passion. Greg Dockham began building and repairing transmissions after hours, after a full day of work, because he genuinely loved the craft and because the trucks coming out of most shops in the region were not being built the way they deserved to be.
Word spread fast. The quality of the work and the honesty behind every job filled the schedule before there was even a schedule to fill. What started as a side operation became a full-time business, built entirely on referrals and repeat customers who knew they were getting something the big-name shops could not offer.
Greg Dockham
Greg founded Elite Motorsports on the belief that diesel truck owners deserve better than what the industry has traditionally delivered. Better parts, better craftsmanship, and someone who will actually pick up the phone when you have a question. With years of hands-on transmission experience and a background that includes building the same units he races competitively, Greg brings a level of accountability to every build that is rare in this industry.
Ryan Dauphinais
Ryan joined Elite Motorsports in 2024 and brought with him an industry-leading depth of transmission knowledge that took the shop's capabilities to another level. Ryan's expertise in transmission systems, diagnostics, and performance builds has allowed Elite Motorsports to offer faster turnaround, more precise builds, and an even higher standard of quality across every platform we service.
